Eliminate the inconvenience and danger of pulling your battery cable. Just connect it and forget it — after the initial installation, the vehicle can be towed and then driven without any further adjustment to the battery — ever!
Roadmaster offers two battery disconnects ideal for anyone towing a vehicle that must be towed with the battery disconnected. Both kits provide a positive current source for brakeaway systems or other accessories that must be connected to the battery.
The 766 is suitable for all gas vehicles and disconnecting the battery is as easy as pushing a switch.
The 767 is designed for diesel vehicles, due to their much higher cranking amps, but can be used on gas vehicles as well. The 767 is typically mounted under the hood and must be manually turned on and off.
Both kits provide an easy solution for customers who must disconnect the battery before flat towing their vehicle.
